MISSION

Our mission is to empower children from Masiphumelele to break the cycle of poverty by providing after-school access to quality education.
We accomplish this by offering individualized homework assistance, tutoring, and educational resources. The cornerstone of our work is a nurturing family atmosphere where learners are encouraged to overcome academic challenges, cultivate a passion for learning and build self-confidence.
GUIDED BY CHRISTIAN VALUES
At Clever Kids, children are at the heart of everything we do – with all their needs, dreams, and challenges. Our work is not only driven by educational commitment, but also by a strong foundation of Christian values: love, compassion, responsibility, and hope.

We believe that every child is unique and deeply loved by God, no matter their background or circumstances. This belief shapes the way we treat one another, how we teach, and how we interact with children, parents, and staff – always with respect and care.

One Bible verse speaks especially to our mission:

"A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling."
– Psalm 68:5
This verse reminds us daily of our calling: to stand beside those who are often left without support, to give a voice to the unheard, and to offer care where it's needed most. Many of the children we support grow up without a reliable father figure or live in difficult family situations. We want them to know that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Our daily work is also shaped by our faith in Jesus Christ, whose life and example inspire us to act with love, justice, and mercy. This faith gives us strength, hope, and the conviction that change is possible, even in the most challenging environments.

We want to be a place of practical love in action – with open hands, listening ears, and caring hearts. Our Christian values are not a requirement for receiving help, but they form the foundation of our approach. No matter a child’s belief or cultural background – every child is welcome at Clever Kids.
