Our staff members act as mentors, friends, and caregivers, always ready to listen and offer guidance.
Food and nutrition
No child can concentrate on learning if they are hungry. That's why we wait for our children after school with nutritious meals and fresh fruit. In some cases, we also regularly prepare food parcels to help the children and their families make ends meet in difficult times.
Hygiene and self-care
At Clever Kids, we make sure every child has access to essential hygiene products like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and deodorant. Many families can't afford these basics. We also provide monthly sanitary pads to our teenage girls so they never have to miss school during their period. And because hair care is especially important in South African culture, we support boys with barber visits and help girls access the right hair products and salons – not for vanity, but for dignity and confidence.
Healthcare
We keep a close eye on the health of our children. If a child needs medical attention, we assist in scheduling and attending doctor’s appointments, ensuring they receive the care they need.
Financial assistance
Financial barriers can prevent children from reaching their full potential. We offer assistance with school uniforms and other essential items, ensuring that every child can go to school properly equipped. We work closely with families to identify and address specific needs, providing support where it’s needed most.
